The name “Infamous Celica” comes from people often knowing me because of this car/the group or both before I know them not always for great reasons haha.
What started as a normal 400 dollar commuter turned into a full blown project, forum and facebook group.
I had always had certain imports I wanted but in a muscle car family they never made much sense, smog, low production on good trim levels etc so I never bought one.
This car definitely grew on me, it bothered me a lot that it was a toyota because toyota at the time was beyond lame offering the Toyota Highlander hybrid as their fastest vehicle (LOL truth!)
It started with a subwoofer I got for free and some lowering springs.
All shit broke loose after that.
