So just an update, they will start pulling the motor in the AM, and will update with pics. I will be making a thread of the engine out of the car since no one has really taken any detailed pics of a motor swap.
So the new motor has basically that same mileage as the old one, 110k and i'm doing the timing belt while the motors out.
Comes with a warranty on motor and labor.. And got all of it taken care of for $2400 out the door. Can't be more happy with that price really.
And i get to keep the old motor... Sooooo i will have a parts motor, so i'm pulling the intake mani off that one and getting it port matched and throwing on the Viva upgraded injectors. I will be putting this on at the same time i get my E85 tune.
Hoping ti see 180whp at the end of it all on a safe and reliable tune.
Maybe if the heads not damaged i'll build the head and drop it on there in the future but not anytime soon. Hopefully the new one wont blow up, i'm gonna try to stay away from redline on this one lol

New motor came in today! Should be done late tuesday! cant wait!
In the mean time i've been luttin in alot of work on the front lip.
Few more hours of bondo and sandinf and it'll be ready for paint!
And i started on the front fins
ts a used motor with 110k on it. But i knew the owner and they took care of it like i did (besides driving it hard lol)
Good news from ARD today though, turns out their new softloader will work with the 2.4i Denso ECU so i will have my tune by the end of the month!
This also is looking good for everyone else with a 2.4i for tuning purposes, but like i said i'll make a thread about that!
