Thanks man...I owe you one for my wheel center caps. Something I didnt make a thread or post about but I would have never found these things without your help.

Got the new tank in tonight.
For the record, it had the bowl in it. I got one that was supposed to be for a gti and it had one less tiny vent line that my OE tank had. It also fit a little tighter and one of the vent nipples was slightly smaller + another was cocked at an odd angle.
What a bitch that was.
Still need to bleed the brakes, change the fuel filter and fill her up with new diesel.
Of course now there is 4 inches of snow on the ground so there's no chance the car is leaving the garage.
I hate snow and winter.
I would take pics but nothing really to see. Its a tank in a car.
