No my tune was off because of the gas here in Saskatchewan Canada where I live is a lower grade than in Marysville where the MPS shop is. This was something that was obviously talked about when I purchased a full motor setup.

The stumble only occurred after having the car home for a few weeks as the front o2 sensor was suffering from the tune being out. This ultimately slowed progress getting revisions but I need to have something done so it's running safely at least.

I am waiting for Dom to get back from SEMA to hopefully get the car adjusted correctly again. I know they are busy and there have been issues along the way but I would like to be able to enjoy the car without fear of damaging it. I think Dom needs a secretary so he has more free time, I mean I'm not an expert tuner.

At the moment I am not even hitting boost in the car, just cruising from A-B

From what I have found online the 08+ WRX shares the full canbus system. That should make things a lot easier. Just got to know if the harness will plug up lol

I guess that's your decision and there are many shops out there. MPS is only a small operation that has become big quickly for a reason.

I know after talking to Dom personally that these steps that are now being put into place are to allow more time for customer contact.

If you think they like not being able to spend lots of time corresponding with customers your wrong.

Either way, take it as you like just putting some context is all

Well I have been thinking about a list of things I still need to tackle on the car:

Re-tune

Fix meth system

New front brake discs

6 Speed

Fix p/s leak

Re paint wheels (maybe a different colour)

Repair door dings / minor body damage

Lip kit

I'm sure there are other things I'm missing. I did just get a new job as a service advisor but now for Subaru not Cadillac!

Well a little bit of good news, Subaru is covering my p/s leak under warranty. That's about $1000 I don't need to think about.

Haha, the digression! My friend John had a gorgeous 2002, completely stripped with a built motor. That thing was a sideways machine lol.

If I think about it the new STI, using the FA engine should be at the 365hp mark at least, I mean it's time they stepped up.

Ultimately the STI is a fast car but I think it needs forged internals, I doubt the cost would go up that mych

Haha..... Dom don't forget to leave some free space in your calendar in spring I need you to come to lovely Canada and tune some cars! Mine most importantly lol. Fingers crossed the 6 speed will be in then and I can feel the full meth fueled fury once more!

Muahaha!!!
