Luckily I managed to get the thread and remaining part of the nipple out. I ordered up some HEL replacments and will be fitting them tonight.
I also had my new tires fitted, Federal 595 I went 235/40/18, the stretch is very minimal and shouldnt affect performance.
I update post #1 with the full build spec if anyone is interested.
Brake install went good, everything is setup and ready to go!

So the car arrived at MPS yesterday afternoon and Dave helped my dad unload it. Sadly I didn't get to go along with him as I am too busy at work. I've also ordered a wack load of little parts to complete the build, valve covers, lines and bolts etc etc that should be delivered soon.

Well your right an update is well overdue so here goes.......
The car made it to MPS without a hitch which was a huge weight off my mind and work began on assembling the motor.
The car leaving Saskatchewan..
Once there things moved very quickly, although there were a few parts issues (mainly my fault) and Craig spent hours sorting through things to get the block assembled.
Here are a few pics of the progress so far....
Stage 3 ported heads:
Close up of the blend and +1mm enlargment
Craig assembling the shortblock:
Heads assembled with valves:
Shortblock all finished, beautiful ceramic coated pistons!
Motor fully assembled with reveresed intake manifold:
The motor is almost ready to go, just waiting on a few little things, evap line etc. After a chat with Dave and Dominic we decided to get the downpipe, turbo, uppipe and headers cermaic coated using Black Velvet. Once those parts are finished it should be ready to drop in and start mocking up the reverse piping, install the FMIC and the meth system.
I have to say so far the process has been great, Dom and Dave have been eager to answer my questions and reccommend what directions to go in for the best results. Im excited to see how things come together over the next couple of weeks.
We are still however waiting on the turbo to arrive as the wrong one was delivered in error. I ended up with a GTX3582 not a GTX3576, no biggie just slows things a little bit.
Also while things are going slower I still have my brothers project to finish...
