Replacing Fixed Rotor Hardware

Compliments of Mikelly @ www.renntrack.com

I'm a little surly today, so forgive me if I come across a little direct...

Replacing fixed rotor hardware? How do I do that? Where do I get the hardware? What does it take?

What it takes it the bolts/nuts and some loctite 242 and an inchpound torque wrench, along with the parts associated with two-piece rotor systems...

What I found while researching who to replace my own kit harware was that brembo recommends 106 INCH POUNDS of torque on the bolts, along with Loctite 242 on the bolts. I had to source my own bolts/ nuts thru www.mcmastercarr.com and research...

The hardware:

My setup on replacing the hardware:

Torquing down to INCH POUNDS (not footpounds)

Finished product mounted:

So as you can see, this isn't rocket science. My goals in my DIYs are to provide useful info to help others in their quest to enjoy and care for these wonderful machines... Somehow this has gotten me in hotwater elsewhere... Helping others help themselves... What an amazing concept...
