5 year anniversary report!
Wow just one blink of an eye.
On this day in 2008 I took delivery of my baby with Bilstein Damptronic freshly installed, by Tom of Lucent Motors in West LA (cheers Tom), and thus began this long running love affair with my Turbo, and the start of this rambling :-) thread.
Everything is working fine and I have not had any problem. It is far and way the best 3k I've ever spent for my (too many) hobbies. Of all the mods I have in my car, the Bilstein suspension change remains my most favorite and the one I recommend most, without reservation.
I do enjoy driving the car, very very much. The way it feels, the way it takes curves, the feedback, "everything," LOL.

Any advanced driver/track junkie please feel free to comment. Me, I stopped *****ing about the GT2's gorgeous seat but low sitting position after reading the excerpt below :-), from Vic Elford.
For anyone who has not thought about this before - try it, you might be surprised. I even notice a difference in my wife Lexus . Kidding aside, it does feel very different for me in every car that I tried.
One more thing to add: of course the -1.2 front/-1.6 rear is just a start. You could change it to however you see fit; and people who track of course bring it to even more negative camber.
In reality, while there is nothing magic about the -1.2/-1.6 setting, other than the fact that it is a setting from Porsche for a 911, although for a RWD GT3, I believe most people stay with it unless for tracking. In my case, it has worked out perfectly. Tire wear is dead even across front and rear.
BTW, does anyone ever wonder, and has an answer, as to *why* more negative camber results in better traction during cornering? Hint: it has to do with maintaining max contact patch/traction on the outside wheel during cornering. IOW, when you turn left, you want max traction on the right wheel. But why and how?
