Compared to stock, the scraping is a little more, but not horrible. That said, in my lowered car, I definitely have to be careful when there is a dip on the road


If you look carefully, you will see there is an ABS skid plate installed under the lip. This helps a lot.

RSS/Stuttgart Performance fabricated the plate, chamferred the edge, and installed it using reverse rivets (I learned of this from "Mike/Gotboost," who has the same thing.). It's beautifully done and does offer a lot of protection. 


really really really love the look of the lip; much more than I had expected. I still stare at it every so often.   This is my favorite shot of the TechArt lip so far:
