Getting started on the MWC Fab 9 rearend swap!!!
Heres the old tired 10 bolt before being pulled out!
Wow, Weather took a toll on the TA. I gotta clean up under there and Undercoat the chassis asap!
MWC Fab 9 getting ready to go in!
And it's done!
Heres a view of the Fab 9 in the car... Nevermind the Panhard bar, It's a few years old now. Paintneeds touched up bad!
Strange Rear RACE Brakes...
Now for the engine bay!!! It was DIRTY AS HELL!
So I pulled everything out that I didn't need in there at the time, and Got it ready for paint!
Relocated the Hood Cable on the drivers side to under the drivers side fender! All I had to do was bend the opening in the sheet metal (by the rear area of the inner fender) apart and the cable went right through there.
Taped off the front end, to begin painting the Engine Bay!
I primed thew engine bay with Rustoleum Primer, and then started to spray the gloss Black paint as well.
Heres a close up of the primer and the gloss black paint.
**Note, I did not sand the primer b/c I was trying to catch the "Crinkled" look in the paint. My last car was Flat and smooth black paint, and I was trying something different this time. It looks good I think for what it is, but I still think the actual crinkle paint would've been WAY better to use. Oh well, I'm not redoing it all again. lol
Oh, and my favorite thing about the OUTSIDE of the car so far is my new license plate I ordered.
In case your wondering what LSX FTW is, It's LSX For The Win!
I'll post some more pics as soon as I get back to working on the car. I've been busy working on another Trans Am lately and don't know how much longer until I'm done. I'm in the process of doing an engine swap for a friend.
