PPI's "extreme" porting is a nice middle ground between Buschur's and MAP's; when it comes to porting you get exactly what you pay for though. If you want the best and most extensive, you pay for it, but if you want just a basic port job then you pay less for it. I had Buschur's ported/coated on my IX, but after some back-to-back dyno testing I was sold on MAP's. Is the extra money worth the 5-8whp in gains? That is an entirely personal decision. I will say though, I really like the silver ceramic coating that Buschur uses, it is extremely durable and held up great over 40k miles/2 years I had it on my IX.
*edit*
Unfortunately, it appears that Wayne @ PPI decided to close up shop

I got retuned with the MAP ported/SPC coated exhaust manifold yesterday and vs. the MAP short-runner tubular exhaust manifold I lost 3whp, but gained 10wtq...I'll take it!
Dyno chart coming soon

MAP short-runner exhaust manifold ---> MAP ported/SPC coated stock exhaust manifold:
-3whp/+10wtq

I'll get an before/after overlay soon.

RED = MAP ported exhaust manifold (SPC coated)
BLUE = MAP short-runner tubular exhaust manfiold (SPC coated)
I should have just done the MAP ported from the beginning...
BLUE = PPI "extreme" ported
RED = MAP short-runner
GREEN = MAP ported
(all were ceramic coated by SPC)
Nice read!
