A couple more pictures, just welding in the rear step and one of the corner panels
There should be a square recess in the floor (you can make it out on yours) with 3 holes, the middle for the pin to go through and the outer two are for two fixing bolts to hold down a reinforcing plate. This plate should be slightly adjustable to allow for adjusting the door. The new floor panel is just flat, I havn't decided if I'm going to put it back like this or just drill a hole and then weld a washer underneath to reinforce it.
Looking at yours I'd probably trim away the replacement step and try to rebuild it as it should be, the holes won't be far out of line as it's still part of the original floor.
