hi all, today we finished fitting the front screen, fitted the rear quarter opening windows, chrome washer jets and pipe, wiper arms and then wax oiled the inside of the doors and then fitted the door cards and furniture
then we tested the seals of the windows and doors with the hose pipe...i may get some new rear quarter window seals as there is a few small leaks and the doors are leaking in from the chrome winding window seal but i have an idea how to fix that we then gave the car a much deserved wash and polish and i remembered to use my camera rather than my phone...enjoy
not much left to do now, just need to pick up the last few bits and bobs from Himley hall next week end...if any one wants any of the spare bits and pieces i have, let me know and we can arrange to meet you at the show

hi all, today we spent some time deciding on where to place my speakers. i have decided to go with four under the rear bench (2x 5.25 inch and 2x 6.5 inch component speakers) i was thinking about putting two under the dash or under the front seats and two under the bench but after looking through the guides on here, i decided i'd rather keep them all hidden rather than go for optimum sound quality (staging)
i now have my speaker wire so we're all set to start on the interior build up tomorrow

hi all. today i made a template for the under rear bench speaker board...my dad will cut this out on 10mm plywood at work and i will wrap it with the same carpet as my boot board (need to get this roll from the show on sunday) i just need to mark out where i want the four speakers now...
we also marked on the grill (with masking tape) where i want my spot lights, my dad is going to take my grill to work tomorrow and weld a reinforcement bracket to the back of the grill for them to bolt to. we already have a spare wire in the loom that we put in for spot lights when we rebuilt the wiring loom
then we got the rest of my interior out of storage at the back of the garage and we will clean them up tomorrow/saturday

hi all, small update.
speaker board made in 10mm ply wood (we will fit it all properly and will take it out to wrap once i have a roll of carpet)
i'll keep the cardboard template too
speakers in situ
with covers on
grill modified for spot lights to bolt through the gap between the bottom 2nd and 3rd runner
barley noticeable...perfect
Wow this is amazing!
