Had a couple of productive hours this week in between sick kids and the other joys of married life

My new suspension turned up (cheers Dave!)



And got some gussets go done on the frame and ground most of the welds to look pretty





Also cut any unwanted bits from the frame like the bottom arm overhang



Just need to weld up the open ends of box section and paint the thing

Also painted all the suspension and hub parts so they are ready to go back on

I took some advice from the 16v forum and from looking at my previous pictures I worked out how much room I have to brace the towers and got the frame all finished off





Got all the ends capped off and the front bar drilled and installed its 6mm flat bar so I think that should be strong enough







Just need to paint it now!!

Well once again the 16v forum has spoken and a few more issues to sort out the first being the front bar it needed to be stronger so I got too it welding some 30x30 box section with the back cut off too it

Cheers for the kind words fellas

Well frame done! Finally I've made all the mods the everyone suggested just done the last bits today

Braced up the lower arm mounts and made the other half of my engine steady







And an overall picture of the finished super braced frame



Also decided to take a bit from the bulkhead just need to fit a new piece in there

I've got until the end if the month to get it rolling and ready to move as we just bought a new house so it may slow down from here on
