Well I did say no more play until Monday as its the wife's birthday but she went shopping. I had a little parcel this morning
Then raised the top arms up 30mm looks the same as the last post unless you know what your looking at lol
Then dropped the motor in and out the front on
And then some of my fitment issues I need to take a notch out for the oil filter neck bit
And the gearbox bell housing but the removable front bar will sort this out
And under the bonnet
And the most worrying part is the water outlet it's pretty close to the grill I just hope I can get a tight enough bend on the hose
That really is all for now lol

update!!
as you can see by the following pic the frame is all welded up and have done the bottom arm mounts with modified bottom arm bolts
also ive got one of the tiebar mounts done i cut the old one from the subby modded it and stuck it on here
and now the frame looks like this
does this angle look ok to the experts?
not much but thats all for now

Small update but I think is a good one
I got the other side tiebar mount cut and in then started bolting bits on to see how it all fits
The main aim of this was to check my turning limit with the fiesta calipers so from here
To here
This is where the caliper carrier hits the tiebar so I need to check the stroke of a steering rack to see if limiters are needed

Cheers Carlos and roughneckin
Another small update from yesterday and today.
I threw the engine back in to get the final position then made a removable gearbox mount
Then took a chunk out if the front of the frame (don't worry it will be a removable 6mm bar when I get some of it)
And there it is hanging freely in the frame for the first time just needs some steadies
But it's done and I can crack on now painting the frame
Wow what a build!
