I’ve gotten a little behind in updates, but they will come in shortly to post. I got around to fixing the deteriorates outer lower wheel well on the drivers side, turned out pretty decent. I decided to cover up the shock mount holes because I didn’t like the opportunity of smog, dust, etc. making its way back inside the car. The still have access the the upper Coilover mounts I ended up banging out the sheet metal a little to allow adequate entry of the upper bolt. Now that this is patched again time to turn Camila on her back and begin preparing her underside to for sanding, seam sealer, primer, sanding, and ready for paint.... we are finishing the bottom first then working our way back up and out, it’s about to get real soon! #protouring#mercurycougarxr7 #hotrod#classiccougar #68mercurycougar#ford #mercury #racecar #fastback

Take it to get blasted they said, they’ll get it down to metal they said... ???‍♂️ make sure you do a thorough job of reviewing the work and take a damn scraper too to verify they get down to metal...I mean this is why we pay shops so we don’t have to make a mess at home right? Well #camilathe68cougar was primed yet again on top, the car is looking incredible now! The belly is being sanded in preparation for welding @heidtssuspensions subframes and IRS saddle this week. Once that’s completed we will seam seal the bottom and prepare for paint! Color will be revealed sometime this week. #protouring  #mercurycougarxr7
