I never posted pics of my steering correction. I have a Waggy pitman arm and it's clocked different. In an effort to straighten my steering wheel and gain some turning radius back for left turns, I ground the keys out and rotated the arm. Here's some pics of that.

I have not updated my goings on lately. I pulled the NP231and rebuilt it after a suspected noise. No idea if it really was the problem but nonetheless, I have a fresh transfer case.

Still waiting on a rear tail shaft housing seal from AA. Then back in it goes. I'm also planning on a UCF skid when some bonus money comes in from work.

Well, things seem to be ok with the jeep. I need to put the front driveshaft back in and get some more gear oil to top off the 8.8.

I did get a quote on an ARB with an install kit for the 8.8. total was $1,099.00. I have a pump and doing the gear install from ECGS is $200. That will put me at $1300 for a finished product. Sheesh.

The noise I mentioned earlier has gotten better. I don't really notice it much unless I really listen. I topped off the 8.8 again today (ran out of gear oil last time) and it seems to have helped...I think. What might be concerning though, is the metal shavings I had originally wiped off a week or two ago have returned. I think that's quite a bit for a week of driving.

My build has come to a frozen molasses kind of crawl. That's what a baby does I guess. What I have been doing is driving the jeep here and there. I put the spider gears back in the 8.8 and have been enjoying the on road characteristics. I haven't had that in maybe 10 years with my jeep. I did replace a head light the other day and with the cold temps I have a coolant leak somewhere. It seems it's coming from the radiator cap based on the evidence so I bought a new one to see.

Went to get some dinner and on the way there my turn signal lever breaks off. Not surprised given how hard it is to engage the signal switch.

Got the steering wheel off and noticed the new turn signal cam copper piece wore away some of the brass ring for the horn. Huh.

I finally got back to my anti wrap bar yesterday. I’ll post pics later.

My wife is interviewing at the University of Wyoming in a couple weeks... landscape is awesome but jobs for me are few and far between.

Also, I fixed my turn signal lever and cleaned up the inside and put dry lube on the parts a and my turn signal is now incredibly easy to engage!

My lever broke at the notch in the stalk and was stuck in the switch itself. I started taking the column apart and finally decided to try drilling it out. It actually worked and I was able to use my smallest easy out bit to pull the piece out. I used a 1/16" drill bit for a pilot hole and then went up to a 1/8" diameter to allow for the easy out bit.

I didn't have to buy a new wiper switch luckily.

We'll see what my wife thinks about Laramie. I've been reading up and it seems to be kind of desolate and windy.
