I went with the JKS 2.0 builder kit. 2" JJ, threaded bushing, 1.25 3/8 wall DOM. talk about a pain to bend on a manual bender...

ill try and get some more pics at full bump. needed it at ride height to set the length. the tracbar clears the diff by 1/4" and the crank pully by about an inch...

got everything istalled late friday night only to have the driver side caliper not want to release (used teves calipers). got back from my family reunion tonight and pulled the caliper and worked the piston in and out and cleaned up the sliders a bit. seem to work fine now but im going to keep looking for some akebono brackets so i can get new calipers... put about 40 miles on it tonight and nothin seems to be draggin.... and one of the best results... no more steeringwobble and ABSOLUTELY ZERO BUMP STEER!!!

3"x9"x3/4"

cut one hole w/ a 2" hole saw and another with a 1-3/8 what ever the stock spacing is. like 5-3/4 or something. then cut both ends (spline and tre) off in the chop saw and rounded them till they were a medium press fit. turned up the welder and burned it in. make sure you put something in the holes while youre welding or youll waste a bunch of time picking out spatter...

Im 3-1/2 hrs from disney...

man, im workin too hard... not havin Molli in town (visiting parents in NC) really shows you how much more free time a "single" man has... gott use it while it lasts, summers almost over
So, after killing my 8" RE monotubes, then breaking two 10" travel that were on loan, i decided it was time to order new shocks and set em up right! well to continue in my quest to have an awsome riding DD and and even better wheeler, i wanted 12" of total travel  so i ordered deotsch tech... or however the flip you spell their name... 8000 series pre-runner shocks (w/ built in bump stops to keep from blowin these up too  ). I wanted a soft shock for the road and these got pretty good reviews for a cheaper shock on a light rig.
now, i knew going into this fitment was going to be an issue (aka, lots of fab) but i didnt realise how freakin big these things are... so, lets get on to pics... molli had the camera so you are all suck with phone updates...
First cut off the top of the stock shouck mount

then put the ford shock tower in to see what needed to be trimmer. LOTS... obviously cycle the suspension, trim more, get out the hammer... and then burn it in

full bump and showing how much higher the new mount goes. I left a little extra showing bc i plan on makin some BPEs soon

shock installed, view from inside the engine bay

ride height (5" of uptravel)

and full droop... and sitting on the floor...

I love these RC coils, 2.5" lift coil with 12" travel shocks and it is still seated

thats where im at tonight... ill do the other side tom, along with shaping ang cleaning up whats left of the stock bracket and then the rears next week... radiator cracked on the way home today so tht needs more immediate attention
