Have you hugged your Racecar today? It's just about go time here at The Chasing the Dragon Hillclimb 2021! Lugs are torqued, fluids are topped, and loving words have been whispered to Racecar. She's a beast, but she still needs a little tenderness and encouragement. We both do. Let's go! Keep up with the happenings in my stories!

Brought home 1st place in Touring 3, set a new class record of 127.248 seconds, and placed 19th/60-something overall (unofficial as of right now). Car ran so good all weekend. Had to make some suspension and tire pressure adjustments after my first run on Saturday, which really made the car smoother over the course's rough surface. Thank you to Richard Hunter for the great pic of Racecar and Me headed up the hill. Lots more pics coming! And, if you're kinda nerdy like me, my average speed over the 2.2mile course, starting from a stand still, was 62.24mph. In-car video of my fastest run is now up on my YouTube.

Racecar made it on to the cover of @sccaofficial's SportsCar Magazine! It's a little photo but it counts, right!? Very cool to be on there with fellow lady in motorsport, Jennifer Lantz, wheeling her Supra at @ncmmsp. The article about the inaugural #PineMountainHillclimb includes more photos of Racecar, me, and an interview with me. There are some other great articles including a @tirerack Time Trials Nationals recap and one about the @skipbarberracing racing series.

My modest SIM rig. It's not fancy, but it works! Feels even better getting to use it next Racecar.

*language warning* After stalling the car at the starting line I proceeded to set my fastest run of the weekend. I was so focused as I rolled up to start, envisioning how to better maintain speed and giving myself pep talks of confidence, the moment the car was chocked I put the car in 1st and released the clutch. Immediately stalling the car! Then forgot to turn traction control off after restarting the car, and had to search for my traction control button about halfway up the hill. I was so focused, I forgot which Mustang I was in and was looking for my S550's TC switch! I was excited as I crossed finish, but then I was unsure if I had gone any faster. Well I did, so please share in my excitement and enjoy the final 2minutes of me hoop'n & holler'n!

Great thread! I had a 2013 Mustang GT. I regret that I never got to take it to a track and really see what it could do. Looks like a blast!
