Soooo initially had a 4 lug rear end for the drum brakes with cane with the i6 engine, but decided to replace it with a 5lug 1971 mustang 8 inch rear end. Although, cleaned it and painted it and did all the work before deciding to replace it! ? A bit of a pain, but that’s the joy of restoring an old car! Used some nice spray paint to give it a great updated look. .
Tools used ?: shop towels, spray paint, cleaning agent. .

Next was painting! Started with fenders, doors, and other parts before getting to the body. Originally this Mustang was color code Y, which was a dark moss green. Over the course of forty-some odd years, it had been painted nearly 5x and gone through different colors ranging from a deep cobalt blue to a pony red. Decided to restore it to the original color, which is the best color: dark moss green. Paint and clear coat by @matrixautomotivefinishes .
Tools used: 60 gallon air compressor with spray gun , one needed for paint and another for clear coat. . Black widow spray gun for clear coat and euro 5200 for color .

Nice work! Thankfully the body looked in decent shape to start with, lots of these are pretty rusty at least around here. Inspiring me to get a Mustang of my own!
