? OR ??? Should I paint the hood black or green to match the rest of the car? ? what do you think?
.
Anyway it’s been a little while! I got this amazing fiberglass hood with a perfect scoop from @maierracing and it clears my @edelbrockusa air cleaner! I did remove my phenolic wood spacer, but at least it fits with the air cleaner and that’s great. Used fiberglass Shelby springs from @mustangcountryinternational, which were a breeze to install. Got some rad radiator bumpers which are great quality from @drakeautogroup , and these were also an easy install.

I took a pic of my original hinges that I just wire wheeled then soaked in some baking soda and dawn and scrubbed the shit out of. I’ll probably paint these to match the hood down the line. I think it looks kinda mean , which I’m very onboard with ? also realized I want to paint the radiator black, but that’s another project for another day. what do you guys think of the new hood!?

What insurance do you all have and recommend? Guess it’s about that time! I was looking into Grundy’s but appreciate any insight.

A few pics from a week ago before the hood was on ?
Generally not one to be in front of the camera, but after 9 months of work I guess I’ve earned some victory pics ?? gotta finish up my brakes so I can get cruising (down my block)

Nice work! Thankfully the body looked in decent shape to start with, lots of these are pretty rusty at least around here. Inspiring me to get a Mustang of my own!
