This restoration project has been the best thing about 2020, maybe even the only good thing about 2020. Today got the original door sill plates installed, after cleaning and polishing them. Did a cool thing using foam tape so that the steel won’t hit the paint (swipe to see.) Used some @drakeautogrouphardware for the install. Small things these days, but still some busy work to calm my mind! Also want to say thanks to all of you who take the time to message me or comment , I really appreciate getting to know people in the community - the doers, the builders, the drivers ?

Nice work! Thankfully the body looked in decent shape to start with, lots of these are pretty rusty at least around here. Inspiring me to get a Mustang of my own!
