After getting the engine out, finalized disassembly. Everything from windows, to doors to anything with a nut or bolt has to be taken out. decided to sandblast it, and get all the muck , grime and paint off of it so it would be a long standing restoration. If you’re gonna do it, do it right. This is prep for wet sand blasting, so there can’t be ANYTHING on the car that’s not the bare body. .
Tools needed ?: ratchet and ratchet set (standard), wrenches, car jacks, wd-40, elbow grease. .

Last step before sandblasting! Did I mention bare metal chassis? If you’re thinking of sand blasting or DIY painting, you should do this. Also, ripped out the top lining interior but it’s still shown in the pic. .
tools used ?: massive tarp for sand blasting. .

Nice work! Thankfully the body looked in decent shape to start with, lots of these are pretty rusty at least around here. Inspiring me to get a Mustang of my own!
