Ya I'm bored lol
Just a quick vid of the oil preasure n water temp. The oil preasure reacts much better with the braided line instead of the POS plastic line.

I fabbed up a couple mounts to keep the top of the radiator in place. These will mount on each side about 4-5 inches from the top and bolt to the coresupport. Then I can sheetmetal the top nice n flat.

I hate waiting for paint to dry lol
I lined the brackets with some pad I had left over from the gas tank straps.

Got the side brackets and top piece on for the radiator.
I believe that completes under the hood for the first ever drive

EDIT: Looking at the last pic...............D@hm, still need an overflow tank.

If you have the 3 pices panels like mine, the piece that bolts to the door has slots in it for the 2 screws. If those are stripped maybe ya could make/bend up a new piece or weld or rivet a new piece to the old one with new holes.

Radio install

I got a small piece of lexan from Menards. Cut it to cover the big hole in the dash, then cut to fit the radio, then install. Gotta tiddy up the wires then I can put the passanger seat in

Got the windshield moulding sanded with 320 then 400, primed and painted trim black.

Should have the shocks tomorrow or Thursday
I will have the windshield and everything I need to install it Friday
I should have the wheels n tires and steering wheel Saturday
My paint supplier stopped over, I will have epoxy primer Monday.(not in stock, he has to order it)
Then all I will need will be some insurance.

So, as of today I am setting a "tentative" date for the first ever drive on Saturday 8/15/09

Got the shocks today n got them installed. Thanks to Aaron(76_TypeLT)
Only got pics of the back, the batteries went dead in the camera and it takes 4hrs to recharge, from now on I will have a backup set all charged.
It is nice to bounce the car and it actually stops bouncing lol
Plus with the shocks being black they blend in nicely
