Hopefully finish up blasting the rear end tomorrow. The center section is a PITA, to many nooks n crannys lol

Done blasting the rear end housing. Some clean up then I can start to take this thing apart  
Maybe original rear with a build date of F204
axle tube code is CG G176 1 G

Yes she is a GM factory 3.73 posi

Looks to be in great condition, no wear marks on the gears. clutchs are nice n tight. Boy I am gonna love taking this apart n cleaning it LOL

I can't believe ya can't feel any worn spots on the axles for bearings n seal and same with the seal for the yoke. The wheel cylinders look iffy, so those will be new. brakes are kinda improtant lol

Thats it for today. Got both backing plates blasted n primed. It took awhile to blast the plates so I think its time for some new media for the cabinet.

I am a Happy Camper again  

Got the rear housing all cleaned n primed. Some times I wish they would make paint so ya could put the final coat on in like 5 mins lol. Can't wait to put the hammered silver on in the morning after food shoppin.

I'll start taken the pig apart to clean after I put on the hammered silver, then prolly nothing till sunday. Got other stuff to do tomorrow afternoon/evening.

If I can assemble and put in car sunday, maybe still have a roller this weekend

Well that wasn't so bad, I supported the diff n my wife moved the jack around  
Prolly won't be a roller to day though Been putting off snow shoveling the snow we got last night. So I need to take a break and get that done.

Edit: Plus I still have to clean n paint the rear sway bar and brackets.

Well thats it for today. The season premire of 24 comes on at 7pm my time.
Got almost all the rear sway bar cleaned n painted except for the long piece. Hopefully tomorrow but maybe not till tuesday.

I can not finish hooking up the rear sway bar, I am thinkin(hopeing) that is because there is not enough weight on her yet.
