Got the UCA shafts n bushings mocked up

Both UCA are done n ready to install   You will prolly notice some welding on one bushing on each arm, they went to easy for me. Not loose but not all that tight. So I welded alittle bit on each one to make sure they don't move or spin.

Was hoping to get my subframe bushings by today, but no biggie.
Tomorrow I'll start with putting the bushings in both the LCA and go from there.

Got the bushings in both the LCA. Just gotta set the engine n trans on the frame real quick to make sure the mounts are in the right spots then start putting the suspension together

Think I had a pretty good productive day LOL

The spindles are just on for pics. Tomorrow after work or saturday morning I will go to Autozone and barrow the spring compressor and finish up the front suspension

Here is how she was when I brought her home with no motor or trans. Doesn't look all that high, but we will see when she gets closer to being done lol

That is our old house. Sometimes I do miss that garage lol

Finally got one spring installed, boy what a PITA with the subframe not bolted to the car.
Fedex just dropped off my subframe bushings so I will get the subframe bolted to the car then do the other spring.

Installing subframe

Fingers crossed LOL

Houston we have a problem.........................

Seems the trans crossmember hits the floor pan before the frame is up where it needs to be
I am putting the small bushing on top of frame to drop body 1/2", even if I put the stock size bushing on top, the frame is still not high enough to clear the subframe connector. For now I will remove the trans crossmember, get the frame installed and go from there.

Allrighty then   Got the subframe installed, tight and square. I will weld the SFC's to the subframe after I mock up all the body parts to make sure everything is all good

Boy was that second spring easier with the frame bolted to the car LOL

Ya learn somethin new everyday
The trans crossmember went right in place. It must have been hitting the high spots on the floor when bolted to the subframe. Thats a big load off my mind, thought I was gonna have to bend up the floors to get it in.
