Well my Ricochet Rockers came in today. They are BEEF! Hopefully they will cover up the dent in the pass side rocker where that old lady hit me and my first attempt at body work on the drivers side.

I also got the "in cab" portion of my 12VoltGuy winch panel installed but have yet to run any wires for it. I removed the "control box" off my h2o 10 and brought it inside the house to wire up the control panel. I'd like to move the box to under the hood and in the grille but the heavy guage wires are too short and with the way they are ran into the "box" I dont think that I can replace them with longer wires. So that leaves me with splicing them.

Anyone have any GOOD ideas on how to splice 2 or 4 guage wire?

Also the selenoid wire's in the "box" need tapped into(and the 12VoltGuy kit has wire splices/taps in it) but they are weird wires. They have a funny insulation on them kinda like tightly woven plastic(?) and IDK if I should use the taps on them.

Anyone have an idea on how to hook 2 tab style connections up to one flat "female" end?

I'll post pics of the rockers tomarrow as I hope to paint them if the weather holds. I also want to try to get my Jk signal lamps in tomorrow.

Have a memorial ride this comming weekend and have ALOT to get done to the Tj before Saturday.

^^Thanks man.

Today after work I shot 2 coats of self etching primer on my rockers.

And between coats I broke this out:

And did this:

I then used a Dremel and a file that was flat on one side and round on the other to take about 1/16" off all the way around the hole. Just enough that the Jk signal is a stiff press in. I only got the passinger side done cause it got dark. I took the lens out till I get some touch-up painttomarrow. I ended up having to take my winch and bumper off so that I could cut the 3" holes "level". It would be nice to have one of those right angle drills.

Hopefully I can get a few coats of rattle can black on my rockers after work and then put them on Friday.

I also got my "winch controller" in the mail today. Now I will have a backup if my in-cab panel isnt wired right

More to come...
