So, have some more carnage to report from the last trip...
Not sure how or when it happened. I just pulled the cover for some routine fluid change and a bunch of peices fell out. So looks like the cage is getting pushed back..... again...... and I'm going to regear to 4.88 and pick up some 37 inch bfg ats for the street...
thats whats weird about it, with every tooth broken on the pinion youd think there would be some sort of damage to the ring gear, but there isnt a single mark on any tooth... i set this one up and have done a buddies 44. so yeah, i plan on setting the new ones up too. the cost savings by learning how to do it yourself is ridiculous...

slowly gettin stuff done till i get my heims and such, so i got the truss made, itll be filled just like the rear was. its so short bc i only have 2.25 inches between my oil pan and the top of the tube...
its 2x3/8 flat. filler panels are 3/16s... i forgot to take more pics last night but i added upper C gussets and the filler panels are done.

ok, finally getting some comp time so heres the 3 link build up
gusseted the upper c's
built a custom diff cover, hand forged from 1/4 in
new suck-down winch mount
upper control arm mounts, tied into the housing
new tracbar mount
finished axle
frame side upper (32 inches)
marking the frame to notch for the lower (30 inches)
then lots of flexing and marking and grinding later actually got the final shape cut out and started filling it. its filled with a piece of 4x4x1/4 angle thats been cut down to match
so once the notch was filled i built the mount. the inner is 3/8 and the outer is 1/4
heres the finished drivers side
and pass side
the brackets are just behind the first body mount, flush with the frame
this is a good shot showing link to DS clearances
then i also plated the outside of the frame rails. so the outside wall is now 1/4+1/4+1/8=5/8" thick
full bump
3" past full droop
full flex
had to notch the frame for the trac bar and drag link at full flex
little video showing it articulating, the suck-down winch was holding the center at ride height... yeah, i was rockin out to some country music

new shock mounts
full bump, not quite coil bound
upper link to drive shaft clearance at full flex
some flexing after i rerouted the exhaust around the pass side mount
