So my buddy towed me home after work tonight so I dug into it just to find that the parking brake mechanism had fallen in the rotor. I ditch the parking brake shoes when I installed the ultimate 8.8 kit since my cage blocked my brake pedal any ways. So this is what my loud bang and rattle was......
always just throw a rock behind the tire, if I park on a hill I just throw the t case in low range. I would like to look into maybe putting a parking brake on the out put shaft of the case some day tho! On top of that I neeeeever set the parking brake when I had one any way!

Can you say rock RASH? Hahaha I had a spur of he moment (the sunshine made me do it) trip to the orv park had a great time but got a little to much sun. On the way home I had to stop by my dads house to straighten my skid plate to keep my exhaust from rattling on it.......I need a belly up like in a bad way!
Yeah this is my second one since I owned it, I just keep bending this one back as best I can with my MEGA crescent wrench. I need a Mml and a ultra high skid now! Yeah you need to test out those gears take pics!

So after wheeling this last weekend I develop a clunk when taking off from a stop and I narrowed it done to my rear axle....so I removed my spartan to see if that was what was causing it but it wast. It turned out my ring gear bolts hade backed out yet again letting the ring gear move just enough to make a pop. This time I had lock tight handy so I got them torqued down again and now I am good to go. I plan on selling my spartan and next year get a selectable locker for the rear.
Is't throw a mini spool in till then tho!

I am going to run the dirty 30 till it dies lol I don't really have the hp to nuke it at the moment so I will keep a eye on it. I plan on a rear full spool I like the idea off 100% traction! My beef with the spartan is when I am climbing something and get stuff with one tire it the air and the other hard against a Rock and I get on it then let off it make a god awful ratchet sound as the free tire continues to spin. If that makes sense. I want to secure a top for the jeep before I worry to much about the locker but will be locked up before Elbe in July!

Yeap no top, I did pick up some red full doors today tho (I would post pics but Jf Doest like iPhone pic now) I hope to order a top in the next couple month not sure if I want to go Bowles again or if I want to go with a factory style top........only because I want to add to the rear of my cage!

I plan on getting the bestop half cab, it's ment to work with round upper or hard doors!
