Am I absolutely the most cliché human being ever? Totally possible. Let’s all pretend this is a 68’ fastback and make my Steve McQueen #bullitt costume work ok? Picked up the most perfect gun holster, McQueen style, from my old work @historyforhireprophouse . Also picked up my rebuilt c4 tranny today! Engine and tranny going in this weekend ??? happy Halloween y’all! ?

?last photo of my 351w out of my car! ? all the photos AFTER this will be of it in the stang ? final touches to this bad boy were installing my @cvfracingalternator and pulley kit and water pump. The alternator didnt come with the correct spacer so i sourced one locally from Ace hardware, a steel bushing with 3/8ths diameter. No one tells you that bushings and nuts and bolts add up to serious money ? . The coil bracket i bought locally at @hawaiiracing . Spent the morning getting the tranny and engine in, only to realize after torquing my bolts that i FORGOT my headers. Rookie mistake . Does anyone else feel like working on a project car means taking one step forward and two steps back or is it just me? Hope you all had a great weekend and thanks for all the love on my Bullitt costume post! You all sure know how to make a gal feel special ?

Nice work! Thankfully the body looked in decent shape to start with, lots of these are pretty rusty at least around here. Inspiring me to get a Mustang of my own!
