Stocked up on some of my favorite supplies so that I can be ready for the engine drop. @permatexusa is one of my favorite companies so now fully stocked on everything from gasket sealer, degreaser, brake cleaner, and more. you’ll likely see me using them for all the install stuff coming up soon ⌛️
➡️➡️question for all you classic car folks: Where did you find or buy your mustang or car? What condition was it in? Did you keep anything original from It? I’ve been thinking a lot about how we inherit these hunks of metal for periods of time, and they become part of our lives and memories. I wonder who’s memory this mustang may live in? Where has it been? What’s it seen? Was it loved? Piecing together an old car like this it’s so easy to see where the car may have gone or where the neglect happened. One thing I really love is the idea of blending old with new : new paint, but old details (like this awesome @aaasocal sticker on my mustang from the early 70s that I will not remove - swipe to see the sticker.) When I picked up this Stang it was a hunk of inoperable metal. Nothing had been changed since close to when it came out the factory, and it didn’t run. I bought it in a desert town in California, which likely saved it from rust. What about you? Where did you get your car, what condition was it, and did you keep anything original or older details?

Nice work! Thankfully the body looked in decent shape to start with, lots of these are pretty rusty at least around here. Inspiring me to get a Mustang of my own!
