If fixing a car doesn’t teach you patience or new curse words, then you are an exception to the rule. Something simple sometimes can take SO ? DAMN ? LONG ?. Especially when nuts and bolts don’t line up and you have to start doing weird things like sticking screwdrivers in places and using all the pressure in your body for a the thread to match and bolt. Im sure this is a shared experience. I’m sure we’ve all had something “simple” turn into “why is this taking me so long?” In other news - got the rear bumper on and used 5 grade bolts. The chrome is really nice and shiny in person, and I used a $5 kit from harbor freight to polish it ( kit is from Chicago Electric) ~ it looks dirty, but that’s just the ash from all the fires and from this really crap car cover I have ?. The rear valence is going to stay black probably for a little bit, since I won’t be painting till the engine work is finished , and with it all things part of the power delivery and power assembly system. My exhaust is hanging ? rear valence is for a GT from @cjponyparts but making it work for my lil coupe.
