Kind of diddling my thumbs over here anxiously awaiting my 351w rebuild to be finished. I haven’t worked too much the past day and a half, the smell of smoke is pretty strong in LA, even though the closest fire is 40 miles or more away from me. I finished painting this piece (which frankly I don’t know the name of so feel free to let me know wth it’s called ?) and used @rustoleum on it, after wire wheeling and sanding it down. Installed it with the new grill too. Today I worked a bit on reviving some old interior pieces, like seatbelts and what not which ill share when they are finished! I’ve tried to reuse and save as many original pieces as I could and only replace what’s absolutely damaged and can’t be salvaged. Anyway, what’s this piece called? Ps my car isn’t dirty that’s just fire soot ??

Nice work! Thankfully the body looked in decent shape to start with, lots of these are pretty rusty at least around here. Inspiring me to get a Mustang of my own!
