Ok, how hot is it where you are right now at this minute? It’s been 110-115* ? here in LA the past few days, and we’ve had some random brush fires all over. I haven’t been able to work on the stang much, but some exciting news is that the 351w is in the shop getting rebuilt and machined and should be done soon! In the mean time, ordered and got this top end kit from @edelbrockusa for it. Like Christmas in September, really. Now I need to get a new distributor, a new carb for it (my 600cfm carb is too small), a new fuel pump, and a new 3 bolt dampener. If weather permits I’ll finish tubing up my electrical wires tonight ??? anyone used this kit? Also seriously how hot is it where you are? ???

Are there any songs you like to listen to while your working on your car or driving it? If so, can you share your favorite cruise /song for my new mustang playlist I’m making? I think it will be cool to make one for my build and for when I get to drive the stang ?

Today finished up the front grill, stone deflector, front valence, lights and some electrical tubing. Sanded down to bare metal some original pieces then primed them up and installed them. There’s gonna be some mismatching going on for a bit - I likely won’t finish painting until the engine is running and I’ve purchased a hood that’ll fit my radiatior. Really grateful I finally got a @fendergripperto use because I have a few paint chips from laying wrenches or or random pieces on them while I’m working and it’s not a good look. Didn’t think I needed one before I used one and realized how useful it is after having one. Hope you all stayed cool and looking forward to your song recommendations for my playlist! Also get a fender gripper and don’t end up with premature paint chips like me ? stone deflector from @cjponyparts , grill from @npd_nationalpartsdepot , paint is @duplicolorauto , tubing is standard wire conduit tubing from @harborfreight (don’t worry jack stands from @homedepot ??)
