BEFORE AND AFTER! ⬅️➡️: Interior isn’t finished but it’s getting there step by step. The seats were in really good condition , so didn’t change anything on them. Installed a new steering wheel from @drakeautogroup , shined up the vinyl with some @motherspolish all wiring is from @american.autowire and @cjponyparts . Redid dash with some @drakeautogroup parts and a really nice tach that’s now working from rocketman RCC innovations.

Things no one tells you when you start or do a car resto project:
- your hands will always be dirty. Seriously. Always.
- SAVE AND LABEL everything!!!!! You may use that random screw 7 months down the line.
- screws, nuts , bolts and fasteners add up fast $$. So do liquids (which you’ll likely fill and drain over and over)
- there will be days you will wonder What the hell you are doing and why, and you’ll probably throw stuff. It’s ok.
- you will spend 50 minutes looking for a bolt or nut you dropped under the car. It’ll amaze you how close it is when you finally find it.
- the better things start looking the more you’ll notice the small imperfections.
-the people at autozone and oreillys generally don’t know jack squat diddly doo - so get a part number first.
- invest $99 and buy a plumbers camera so you can inspect the inside of your engine / pistons, and find hard to reach things.
- aftermarket accessories nearly never work or fit perfectly. You’ll learn how to macgyver the shit out of things to get them to fit your needs.
- you’ll suddenly post about your car. Like, all the time. Your normal friends won’t get it but your new car friends will.
- your garage will be covered with car stuff and you’ll start tripping over it
- you’ll think about how many times you saw something RIGHT HERE but when you need it, it’s magically disappeared
- you’ll join an amazing community of fixers and doers who find solutions to all problems.
- youll become a certified badass

Nice work! Thankfully the body looked in decent shape to start with, lots of these are pretty rusty at least around here. Inspiring me to get a Mustang of my own!
