So exciting to compete in the inaugural Pine Mountain Hillclimb in Pineville, KY. Hosted by SCCA Inc. and presented by Grassroots Motorsports Magazine this is the newest hillclimb in the USA! That is a big deal in 2021 when so many places to races are getting shut down.
We are expected to have beautiful weather all weekend. Looking forward to spending some time in the Kentucky mountains learning a new hill!

A quick interview from Backroads of Appalachia at the Hillclimb on Sunday morning.
Just after this interview official timing from Saturday came in and Michele Aubele times were finally sorted correctly putting her up front as the fastest lady on the hill with a 1:58! Congratulations Michele! As I kept looking at your times on Saturday I thought maybe your car wasn't behaving or you were sandbagging! I fully expected you to take home that trophy. Well done!
Congratulations to all the women that came and attacked this hill! I think we all had fun and took our cars home in one piece. That's a win in my books!!
This was my official fastest time. I ran two more runs after this but no official times due to unexpected issues with event equipment. They felt close, if not a tad faster, than this one. I have them on my YT.
Great event! I'll do a proper recap this week if you want to hear about my experience.
Nice to see someone pushing these cars to their limits.
