I haven't been able to take my eyes or mind off Racecar. I really thought she was ready after this weekend's tow ring install and brake fluid swap BUT a little rattle noise caused us to take a closer look at the rear brakes. To our surprise (because we haven't touched the rear calipers or pads since purchase) the pads were installed completely WRONG! ?? Check the pics and see if you can name the *multiple* things wrong.
After putting the rear brakes back together the right way, with new pads and new rotors, there was still a little rattling noise.?? We then checked every bolt on the rear suspension and found 1 slightly loose on the driver's side shock area. With everything triple checked, the car was rattle free as she headed to get alignment. She's now all aligned and ready for her big trip to Kentucky! We leave tomorrow morning!

Nice to see someone pushing these cars to their limits.

Great thread! I had a 2013 Mustang GT. I regret that I never got to take it to a track and really see what it could do. Looks like a blast!
