Thanks Nick. I appreciate it. The heads are awesome, the cams are perfect, the entire build idea is a great one. I'm glad I went with the zero decking/12:1 CR. Even though I haven't been able to really see what she's got yet, I already know its a bad mofo for sure. It's exceeded my expectations. It's got so much throttle response it's not even funny. I can not wait until it gets on the dyno. I have a sneaking suspission it's going to perform verry well. Is there anything you could tell me as far as tuning one of these that might be helpfull? I seem to remember at one point you had mentioned that most of your heads "like around 23 degrees of total timing" or somthing like that. I know your not a "tuner" but I figured that you probably have been down a similar road at one point or another. Thanks again.
THANKYOU: I'd like to send a BIG SHOUT OUT to all the people who helped make this build possible. First of all Thanks to Nick McKinney (MHS) like mentioned above, for the original idea for the "Recession Buster" and for the Awesome Stage III heads/cam combo, for the advice and for answering all my ?'s. Thanks to ARCANGL for his advice and answers to my ?'s, p.s. the TFS gears turned out perfect. Thanks to Masterofthepuppets99 for all the hrs of help/work installing this engine in the HEAT w/ limited tools/equitment. Also for not giving up on the "2hr header bolt". Blue Oval Performance for an excellent base tune to start off with. Of course my Girlfriend for being so cool as to let me build an engine in the kitchen/dining room and putting up with a mountain of boxes for weeks. Thanks to all of the Corral members who have given advice and answered ?'s. The Corral has been an invaluable asset throughout this build. Thanks everybody.

OK, well I'm in Oregon and we do have to pass a DEQ test every two years. Luckly all they do is plug into the DLC port and make sure all moniters pass. I'm not sure at this moment if there are two readiness moniters allowed to be "not completed" and still pass. I renewed right before my engine swap. Since I know it will be an eventual situation to be delt with I'm trying to get together and learn what I need/need to do in order to pass DEQ and start gathering whatever I might need. All emissions equitment is still on the vehicle except cats, EGR turned off in the tune. I'm prepared to get a different/new H or X pipe w/cats to match my MAC LT's although I'd like to keep my prochamber but since they dont make'em w/cats anymore i'll probably have to change to somthing different. If I was to have to pass a "sniffer" there is no way due to the duration of my cam. But since it's DLC only, and possible visual to see if there are cats i'm hoping this will be possible. Please anyone with experience in situations like this I'm interested in what the "usual" and unusual ways to pass this kind of test. Thankyou for all and any pertanent information.
Nice build!
