Next is the 16gallon aluminum fuel cell with foam and sender in the spare tire well,Also you can see how the spare tire well is off center in the fox bodies (stupid ford) also the relocated battery with master disconnect and LS1 Plate LOL

Here is my gauge cluster its not 100% done but almost still needs the turn signal indicators as well as the high beam indicator ,the gauges are Auto meter Ultralites all of them are electric except the speedo:

This picture shows the fitment of the roll bar past the stock door panel.....

Here is a picture of the half finished interior ,In this picture you can see the shifter mounted in the stock ash tray hole as well as the tach mounted on the cover for the stock 5 speed opening, and the passenger seat in,you can also get a better view of the roll bar and how it fits in this picture:

5/25/2007

Well heres a few more update pics ... the car is sitting on all fours there is still a bunch of weight to go up front so it will sit lower still and then a couple hundred pounds of fuel will bring the back down just nice i think ......

9/20/2007

Car has ran 11.0 @134mph on only 11-12 psi driven 6 hours to track raced then driven 6 home!!! this winter calls for a trans brake and two step to get the car out of the hole and make use of the power its making

Here is some totally bad *** pictures of my scrap rolling down the highway on the way to the track ....... Street car baby

Some burnout action from the track

And my favorite one ..... Just seems SOO fitting

3/19/2008

Ive been working on the car alittle bit here and there , Motor is out , trans is rebuilt and sold New K member is in etc I picked up some new BBK caster camber plates so the front end should be back together ASAP

the car weighed 2900 lbs without me and with a 1/2 tank of fuel , that was with the stock K member front end etc and an Iron block motor and heavy turbo kit up front .

The car uses a TCI 3500-3800 converter meant for a th350/400 behind a LSX motor.

I should have some more progress to report after the weekend.

8/5/2008

Ok here are some updates for this year:

Had the car on our Dynojet and made 510rwhp/495 rwtq on 11psi and pump gas but have not had a chance to put it back on with the boost up.

So far the car has gone a best of [email protected] with a 1.53 60 foot , That was on 13 psi and pump gas. I have since added airbags to the rear to try and flatten the car out as well as upped the boost to 16psi and I am trying to get a 9 second pass out of it before the year ends.

I have driven the car on 1200 km round trips raced and drove home as well as street drive the car ALOT! It has been great and not given me many issues at all.

I tune it , I don't run 16 psi on pump gas I run it on a mix of 94 pump and 109 unleaded race gas and yes this car see's a very heavy dose of meth timing is between 18-20 degrees depending.

8/16/2008

[email protected] last night in some nasty heat with a crappy 1.63 60 foot also went 138.46 on one run.

9/13/2008

Here is a little video of it from last night, car spun pretty hard but still managed a 10.40@135 on 14 psi and straight pump gas. The car in the near lane is a friend of mine His posi crapped the bed as can be seen but the car is a R block 306 with a novi 1000 blower and a 150 hit and has been 10.3 so we are generally a good race.

http://s10.photobucket.com/albums/a1...eil_Launch.flv

Gonna go for 18 psi next week and see if I can get my 9 out of this heap.

It really needs adjustable uppers not to mention the track conditions seem to vary run to run like one run I can leave at say 6psi and 3400 rpm the next run I try that and it spins HARD or I leave at more boost and it blows the tires off so I back it down some and then it leaves like a slug.

I will get it figured yet.

On 8 psi it made 450rwhp
on 11psi it made 510rwhp
SO on 14 I would guess 550ISH
and on 16.5 all the calculators put it right around 650-660 rwhp . I guess I could put it back on the rollers seeing as how I own a dyno LOL

9/20/2008

Well after going up a bit in tire size and changing a few things on the suspension the old heap of **** pickup truck motor finally did it 9.99@140 the car made 5 passes over 140 mph and it was all on 14.5psi and straight pump 94 with meth. The car finally left good with a 1.48 60 foot. Overall a great night of racing ran new personal best et,60 foot and mph and did it all on my street set up with the boost down and pump gas !!!

9/22/2008

Thanks guys here is the slip car 0364 left lane.

10/8/2008

comp 212/218 and .522/.529 lift on 114 LSA
Arp cam retainer bolts
Arp rod bolts
ls6 Corvette intake
Ported Throttle body
60lb injectors

Never got a chance to turn the boost up anymore as food poisoning took me out of commission lol

Cars best Et was [email protected] with a race weight of 3190 lbs and lots of 10.0 - 10.1 passes this year total I made right around 130-150 passes with ZERO breakage, aside from a couple of rubber intake boots.

4/8/2009

Cut some more of the inner fender out on this side today and got a flange and tacked on a support piece..... It is starting to look like something!

4/11/2009

More pics of the progress..... Wastegate feed is just tacked for fitment purposes and actually needs to be rotatated etc, Hard to see in the pics but look at the deadly sweet fit of that 3" pipe to T4 flange.

Pics also show the tire clearance with the suspension all the way up and wheel at full lock

Hoping to work on it some more tomorrow.

5/12/2009

got the turbos back from coating, they came out AWESOME... even smoothed off the " master power" on the compressor housings., I am pretty happy with how it is turning out I just need more time/money lol

5/19/2009

Well here is some more slow, ugly progress but at least it should work decent when its done.... I hope!

Cold side mocked up out of intercooler, with Blow off mounted and meth nozzle installed

Hotsides done, Pressure tested, wrapped etc.

Cold side out of turbo into Y pipe 2 x 2.5" into a 3" into the cooler

Gotta finish the cold side/downpipes then figure out how I can box the engine bay back in.

6/5/2009

Here is some more pics of my progress, Not the prettiest but it will do.... Dual meth nozzle bungs welded in, passenger downpipe all done and sectioned for tire clearance as well as wastegate dump plumbed back in.

6/28/2009

Well I got some more work done on the pile today

Diff assembled ( 3.31 gear, Moser 33 spline axles, Moser C-clip elims,Moser 33 spline lightweight spool, 5/8 studs,TA Girdle cover, Disk brakes)

Dust makes the stuff look rusty but its not, I might have to raise the ride height just a bit although I like it slammed! Also the brakes were just on for test fit hence the rotor oreintation.

New wheels drilled and Mounted (Big thanks to Gord max for the wheels)

New (ISH) motor half assembled.... Gonna try to set some records on stock JUNK again LOL

Motor will consist of the following:

6.0 Block honed
Stock crank pollished
2006 LQ9 Rods with ARP Hardware (Big thanks to 2000Z Jordan)
2004 Lq4 pistons/rings with 400 kms(Big thanks to BlackX James)
Comp Custom grind turbo cam
Comp 850 Hyd roller lifters
Arp Head bolts
L92 MLS Head gaskets(2000Z Again)
Comp Hardened pushrods
317 heads with TEA Springs and Titanium retainers( Big thanks to Tim@ Head dynamics)

Hopefully this little girl holds on for a little while

Also got my cold side out of the intercooler back from powder coating

7/2/2009

HOUSTON we have an engine!.... Hoping to put it in this weekend, Making a big push to be done for Street machine weekend July 10-12... None of this could be possible without help from some VERY awesome friends!!!!

7/5/2009

Now on to the good stuff!!!!! Mind the uglyness  (wheel wells, wiring etc will all be cleaned up when I have more time)

Car sitting on the ground with the new shoes, rear springs/suspension etc.

Oh ya I almost forgot IT RUNS! Still needs a lot of work but I plan to be DRIVING it to a big meet/street race/car show weekend that is 5 hours away on friday morning!

http://s10.photobucket.com/albums/a1...t=MVI_1336.flv

7/14/2009

finished the car at 4am friday morning, got up at 6:30am and drove the car 5.5 hours on the highway to get to a HUGE local car weekend. Raced the 100 foot drags where I did not have my boost controller set up properly and therfore got my *** whooped.

But saturday night we had some very fun street action and I proceeded to take down :

69 camaro, Full tub on 33x17 slicks, 502 on the bottle.
Hyabusa not sure on mods I think just a pipe
C6 Zo6 408,procharger -810 rwhp

as for spool time, still got some issues to work out with spooling it on the trans brake but it spools awesome on a roll.

7/16/2009

Well I decided I might as well throw the car on the rollers and make sure the tune was half decent for some friday night action.

I was kindly rewarded when the first pull it broke up rich numerous times and still did 600 ish rwhp. 11 psi of boost/15 degrees of timing and breaking up in the 9's for AFR.

Second pull I got the tune a little closer it did 650ish still same boost/timing. Little cleaner AFR.

Third pull , still working on the tune..... 670rwhp/601 rwtq on 12psi/15-16 degrees of timing and a pretty rich afr of around 10.8 ish.

4th pull got the Afr cleaned up added 2 psi of boost and did 706 rwhp/625 rwtq on only 14 psi/15.5 degrees of timing and around 11.2-11.6 AFR.

I decided that was enough power to try out for the first time out. Overall I am up 130 rwhp and 103 rwtq on 2.5 psi less boost. This thing still has A LOT left in it but like I said I wanna see how it does on this for now.

I have also been driving the car alot to and from work etc.

I really did not think that this stock JUNK would make this much power especially on low boost. All numbers were made on GARBAGE 91 octane pump gas and meth. I will post the dyno chart as soon as I get a chance.

7/18/2009

Ran the car last night and learned a few things.

It ran 9.55 @143.5 1.49 60 foot and 116.85 1/8 mph and 6.17 1/8 ET

BUT its blowing through the converter HARD, its on the limiter at 6800 about 300 feet short, hence the low top end mph.

That was on 14psi and pump gas/meth.

I think with a real converter in it and get it to actually 60 foot its got some 30's in it pretty easy.

7/20/2009

Street cars RULE!!!!!! Some pics from a few weekends ago when we made a 5.5 hour(each way) road trip and did some 100 footer racing.

8/4/2009

Here is the dyno chart, the converter was slipping about 20-25% on these dyno pulls based on the mph and I spun it to 6600 rpm.

8/13/2009

Now I can start turning it up! and getting it to actually leave hard.
