Explanation of Mod: A long tube header is designed to increase airflow out of the cylinder head increasing engine performance. It also deletes the cat unless otherwise modified. A long tube header will have a significantly higher "raspy"Â volume over stock. Placing a high-flow cat (would require modification to the midpipe) or glasspack past the header is recommended to reduce the "raspy"Â characteristics of the header.
