Don't hold your breath tho folks. The bloke is now saying he will only except cash, despite the listing stating he prefers paypal. This could be a massive problem as the funds are coming from my credit card.
Believe it or not I don't have a spare £2000 cash lying around. Plus I'd already e-mailed him saying that I would be using paypal. This could get messy. I really hope he sorts this out or I might cry.

However, notice the direction my wheels are facing. I am desperately trying to point the car round the next turn in the chicane at Ardenau Forest.
I put my foot down to boot it but it didn't catch in time. It just propelled me straight at the armco. Oops. But don't worry. I am starting the repairs in a couple of weeks.

Minty is all over the December issue of Miniworld tho!
But bad news is some dosey bird drove into the back of him and cracked him like an egg!

Here is a tantalising picture of the completely finished bodywork. I will rake some more when the snow is gone.
There wasn't any structural damage in the shell, just the minor tears on front valance. The horrible section over the arch was just where the filler had cracked.
She looks good as new again and I am very happy.
It's actually been done a month but I have been outside sleeping in it and hugging it since then. So i never got round to taking any pics.
Just needs new headlight and grill. Gonna make an ally grill I think.
Also rc40 is on and is brilliant! Highly recommended as it idles much nicer and throttle response feels like its making an extra 10bhp!
Honestly its' that good, I reckon engine will be easily over the 100bhp mark now. Shame I've got to whip it out to investigate my oil pressure knightmare.

Well folks, Ally beam is sold and gone (the guy over payed too! on purpose aswell!)
So today I took the crappy subframe that was in it's place off.
Then stripped it for all the relevant bits ie: Handbrake gubbins, brake pipes even though I will probably renew them, and radius arms. The arms will need modifying tho.
All because of what turned up in the post today. Brand new beam with adjustable camber and nearly new rear coilovers, another bargain e-bay find:
Was hoping to finish this today, but it kept either raining or snowing!
Under the shelter of amy raised garage door I did manage to modify the radius arms to suit the beam. You have to chop off the knobs that house the rear trumpets:
The arms are in pretty good condition, but I gave em a quick going over with a wire brush attachment on the drill and sprayed em with hammerite. Didn't touch the drums because they recently had new shoes and cylinders.
So now I'm selling everything you need to totally sort out your rear subframe. Adjustable Aluminium Rear trumpets and rubber cones. Adjustable rear shocks and brand new 1.5 degree negative galvanised camber brackets.
