Success! Exactly what I was going for. Thanks :-

To be honest, I'm really not a fan of the whole "Oh look I've stuck a square digi-dash in a board of MDF" type of thing, but didn't want to start adding guages here there and everywhere on the dash. So with a little bit of luck, a grinder and a hammer managed to make this dash fit in the centre of the old dash.

Wanted to keep it looking standard but still have a rev counter, and also have something a little 'different' (not that a Pickup as a 1st car isn't different enough already...)

I would like to purchase some of the original dials to go either side of the big clock if anyone has any. Looking to get some in nice condition, and with the same chrome surrounds (unlike those ^^ which have 1 earlier surround and one later surround). Was going to get some digital aftermarket ones, but then I think it would give away the whole retro look digi-dash thing I've got going on.

Fuel tank now in. Should be starting on interior soon

Exhaust needs mounting on, tailgate needs fitting, rear lights need fitting, everything wired up, wheels needs repainting, doors on, seats in, windows in, carbon bumpers needs picking up and fitting (if I can ever get hold of Arc Angles!) and urmmmm probably some more! I have a to-do list, which is gradually getting shorter but still fills an a4 sheet :dontgetit:
