Almost done, I might have to do some repainting in the rear because of a couple tears in the paint but she's coming along. How would I go about taking off the chrome on the sides? Is it brute force or is there a way to get behind and push the pins through? Thanks for the help.

Can't wait for spring to come... I have made a couple more mods. I ended up with a very nice pair of fiberglass bumper incerts to go under the tail lights so those will have to be bondoed on and then painted. After that I am going to get dual SU carbs, new 4-2-1 headers, and hopefully a Harly muffler to replace my poor decision (cherry bomb). Then the roll bar and bikini top. Finally will be the stereo. Busy spring to say the least. After all that work, the fun part starts and I will be able to drive and tinker.

Got a little farther, have the new radio and speakers in. The Harley muffler on. Put the fiberglass rear bumper replacements on and got them bondoed and painted. Now onto the new radiator, duel SU carbs, and headers. After that there won't be too much more. Doesn't look great while up close and personal but she is a really good 15 footer.
More photos... I'll get a few from the front tomorrow now that I have put the grill back on.
