DIY: Rear Suspension
Tools Needed
1.17mm wrench
2.Spring Compressor Rent at Autozone or Buy it
3.15/16 Socket (22mm)
4.14mm Socket or a Rachet
5.Allen Metric (5)
6.10 mm socket(remove seats)
1. Rear Seat Removal, your rear seat is holding 4 Screws using a 10mm socket you need a extension. 2 in the corner and 2 in the middle. (sorry no pic) but D/L the Service Manual.
2. Losen the Hat nut on top of the shock (1) with the allen (5)(better off losen it first, i did the hard way.just about 3 turn is good. all the way that shit will kill you. Now remove the #2 nuts so you can remove shock.
3.Now lets spray on Liquid wrench just to losen up the nut wait about 5 min and then remove the 17mm nut on the bottom of the shock.(disregard the calipers i had to do my break pads)
4. Now you going to push the shock away from you so it can be freely, you can push down the rotor to take that off.
5. It Probaly recommanded to move your break line so you can move the shock out. i found a easy way..i was thinking just like screw,so basically the spring will act like a screw so i unscrew it and it came out easy and goes the same way goin back in.
6.Compress your stock springs till the Hat is lose then grab your 14mm Rachet(better) and your Allen size 5 your goin to remove the nut
7.Get your lowering spring and put it on your shocks. Compress the spring first ,then put your hat in make sure everything fits right.then tight up your top nut, and then losen your spring
8. go ahead and put it back. like a screw.make sure it like this picture otherwise you have a hardtime
9. if your hat doesnt fit in the hole you can just compress the springs, and it will fit snuggly in the hole, tight up the hat nuts, decompress the springs and tight up the 17mm nut.
It wasnt 2 finger it was 1 1/2
I did the best i can. for this write up. i never did a DIY ever..anything missing add it on or wrong.

feel stocky.. but a nice drop for my taste..yes still on stock strut. i dont think it will blow out. made to use with my stock struts. haha i search for my reviews for these springs
nope it been 3,000 + its still the same height
these are titanium springs that eventually compress back to the same way it was..these are not like other spring that lower it self when u drive + miles
aftermarket strut will just add another inch drop + springs drop add that together it will be more than a 3inch drop
i use to have a system but its hauling to much load.
get your self eibach springs.
