Got all measurements and pics taken today and old frame rails cut out.
Started getting donor frame rails ready to install. Hopefully start on that tomorrow.

1 more week then VACATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok...................got the donor frame rails on, square and solid.
Out of 6 measurements, 5 are dead on and 1 is off by less then a 1/16". I am very happy with this so far, was worried about doing this but it wasn't so bad after all.
I was planning on plating both sides of frame, welding around plates and plug welding some holes for more strength, but then I got to thinkin.........why not plate the inside on both frames, weld around plates then plug welding some holes for a much cleaner look?
I will also come up with some kind of X bracing from frame to frame for more support when turning on the rotissreie.
I do have the one missing ear of frame, just have to find it lol
