They're inline on the positive wires. I used the resistors that came with the lights, but you could use a 330ish ohm resistor and be fine.

I finally had a chance to work on Cindy a bit today, and wouldn't you know it, it started raining! We have been having this heat wave lately, and now rain..

I replaced all the lights on Cindy today. The parking, tail, signal, backup, and of course the head lights.

I started at the back. There was this wire,and another one I forgot to photograph, that had seen better days. So I cut out the bad part, soldered the wires back together, and shrink wrapped them. Underneath that electrical tape was two wires twisted together. Good as new now. I also replaced the factory wire wrap with that plastic tubing stuff.

While my boy was busy replacing the rear lights, I moved up to the fronts. Its pretty straight forward on how to take the lights out, just unscrew all the screws.

So the rear's on my new lights are a bit bigger than the factory ones, so I had to clearance the headlight buckets a little bit. I used a Jigsaw. I know they're not all that pretty but no one can see them once they are reinstalled.

When I moved over to the passanger side I found something kind of unusual. I don't think I have ever seen a headlight connector like this one. At some point, for some reason, someone replaced the connector. I had to trim it down a bit so it would plug into my new lights.

I removed the crappy connections, soldered and shrink wrapped these wires also.

Install the opposite way you took them out and you're all done!

I didn't get a chance to hook up the halos before it started raining. So, hopefully next time I can do that or at least rewire the lights with relays so they are brighter.

Also, all the lights worked after I tested them. That was a nice surprise. Even though, the flashers work fine, and the blinkers don't work at all. LOL. I'll have to do some testing next time I get a chance.

...also I just noticed that the front amber lights aren't lit up. I think they are supposed to be when the headlights are on right? Something must be up with the flasher or something.

Today I cleaned out my trunk and put the new steering wheel on.

I decided to clean all the junk out of my trunk. I had two old intake manifolds and a bunch of odds and ins. At some point in her life, Cindy has been wrecked. Here is a picture of some bad body work! Oh well... It's the worst part on the car.

You can see where the lights don't quite line up right. It's bugged me since the day I bought the car. It feels like a ton of Bondo and looks like crap.

Anyway, with the trunk cleaned out, I decided to install my Grant steering wheel. I bought a steering wheel, install kit, and Camaro button.

The first thing I did was remove the stock steering wheel.
There are two phillips head screws that need to come out. After you unscrew those screws the front will fall off.

Next, remove the center support piece.

Prior to all of this, I went to Autozone and rented a steering wheel puller. After I installed it, the wheel came right off.

Since I had my steering wheel off, I went ahead and replaced my blinker lever. I bought a different one years ago at a swap meet for like 5.00. It looks like its made out of aluminum. Definitely in better shape than my stock one. LOL

After that I went ahead and installed my Grant wheel. The instructions that come with the wheel are a bit confusing. There are three different sets. One from the wheel. Another from the install kit, and yet another from the Camaro button. NONE of the instructions matched. It's not hard to figure out how to put the wheel together though.
