So here’s my rebuilt head lamp grill and head lamps. The grills are painted. The choice was easy in choosing @dapperlighting #575 for headlights, the hard part was choosing a configuration but after thinking about it for a long time and feedback from friends/family I decided to keep the blacked out them along with the cool modern halo for a modern but timeless look. Just look at the huge difference from the old head lamp design vs the @dapperlighting design with the projector beams on all 4 headlamps. What does everyone think? Is it just right or too much? So I ended up not blasting this fender as I thought to do it manually and remove the old paint down to metal. The porter cable sanding tool did help remove the paint easier where it could be used. This is a cheaper alternative to the Eastwood tool. I think overall the @eastwoodcotool is better as it allows more exposure to the abrasive roll to surface, but this works too and got the same end result; down to metal #protouring #mercurycougarxr7#hotrod #classiccougar#68mercurycougar #ford #mercury#racecar #fastback
