So here’s the big reveal! I ended up going with the @tci_engineering route. I’m not going to lie the @gearznation Stacy had a little influence watching the old vids from his cougar build from long ago. I spoke extensively with Ryan @stangaholics he’s extremely knowledgeable and they sell what they install and personally drive. I actually wanted to remove the shower towers to create more room and a cleaner look, rather than the others. All of the previous mentioned options are great! I have a set of shock towers 4 sale if anyone wants them ?. Brakes were upgraded to @wilwooddiscbrakes 6 Piston brakes. Coil overs by @ridetechsuspensionand a manual steering system in hopes of applying Electric drive in the future. So I’ve read the instructions prob 50 times in a string of a few days. I gotta hand it to @tci_engineering the instructions are clear and detailed, this helps especially when it’s all made in the USA! ?? notice the clamp business grew a little lately ? better safe than sorry it it moves. Let the Mig welding commence! Just wanted to send a big shout out to @my_tales_0f_tac0s and @rudy_67 for helping me weld the @tci_engineeringreinforcement plates to the stock rails of #camilathe68cougar without their expertise with Welding I wouldn’t be able to get this down and looking good to boot! @rudy_67 also has a 67 Cougar that he is working on updating the rear end to a 4link! I have to admit at first thought this seemed like a massive project that I thought only a shop can do...but I was wrong.
