Finally got my @heidtssuspensions IRS parts back. I originally wanted to keep the emblem on the outside hubs(?) clear coated so it would pop more behind the wheels...that didn’t work out as I wanted. the shop didn’t follow my directions so we went all black there ?. The upside is they did a way better job this time along with color matching the red this time around. In addition, they paid the bill to replace all my IRS suspension bushings that were ruined during powder coating; at least they did the right thing and owned up to the errors unlike other places I’ve dealt with in the past. Have you folks ran into shop problems before? I have a lot of stories around this build in general.... Featured #camilathe68cougar build partners:

I got tired of reaching into the empty door and pulling the unlock lever marring my forearm each time. So I installed the rod, picked up some locking clips and added the door handle to function. Just an FYI the Mustang repro door button rod is too long for the Cougars. I burned some money on aftermarket rods kits only to find that one of them is too long. You can measure to fit and cut and weld the rod back together if needed. Luckily for me, I ended up finding all my door rods ??‍♂️ so I cleaned my old ones up and installed them back into the Cougar. I’m loving the accents on Avalanche grey. The combo is really coming to life. I will be installing the XR7 emblem soon on the rear pillar. What do you think? Do the colors blend well together?
