I decided to get those headlights done asap, so here it goes!
Well I got some turtle wax headlight restoring kit because it had wet sand paper included and compounds. I also got 100% silicone that is black and a putty knife...
In the oven at 300 for 3 minutes is perfect.
Pop that sucker open with a putty knife. I started on the top and the bottom came open when the top started to crack.
One down, one to go. The black part comes off easy, but the reflective piece and cover are together pretty well with one small screw holding them together so be careful.
Second one done!
This SC at one time had strobes. Very interesting.....
After a wetsand and slight buff. Sorry for bad phone pics, but you can tell a difference..
Both covers done!
A little wax always helps.
Clean the reflective piece as well as the black piece and projector glass.
Starting to reassemble...
This stuff smells..
BAM! Better pics tonight after a good buff, as well as on the car maybe. Depends if I'm putting on a friends coilovers or not. It's so hot here in PA, I don't feel like going outside. Results will be soon though!
