I will be doing a xenon S2000 retrofit on a set on jdm headlight for a GS300.part 1 ,we will be removing the orange turn signal reflectors.
pay close attention students.
first we need to remove the lens from the housing.
you can do two things.
1.Use a heat gun.
2.Put the headlight in the oven. This requires you to pre-heat the over at 200 degress.once it's hot ,you will turn off the oven, put the headlights for about 2 minutes.{use leather glove, cuz it's hot.}seperate the len and housing.done.
Now you can remove the orange reflector. There is one small philips screw holding the inter trim.Unscrew it.The orange reflector is glued to the trim. You can pop it off with a flat head screw driver.
pic 2 remove orange lens.
install the trim back in the lens, put the screww back and your done.
part two will cover the hid retro of the S2000 projectors.hehe
hope you guys can understand this.
Need to make brackets to mount on the OEM location. This way you can aim the projector with aimming screws.NO GLUE WILL BE USED ON THIS XENON RETROFIT.
JDM -S2000.
JUST PAINTED MY SC430 PROJECTOR,that I will install in my fogs.hehewill post pic's later.
